Covid-19

At York Veterinary Hospital, we are committed to keeping clients and team members safe during COVID-19

Until further notice, we are implementing the following.

  • We are still operating under curbside service. Clients are not allowed in the building for appointments. (only very few exceptions)
  • Appointments will still be asked to check-in upon arrival by phone or text and wait for a team member to come out to get your pet. Please wear a mask when the staff member comes to get your pet. The doctor will call your phone with any questions and to go over the exam.  Check out will be done on the phone at the conclusion of your visit. Your pet will be returned to you by a staff member and will give you any further instructions or answer any questions you may have. Feel free to prepare for your visit with a written list of any concerns you may have.

  • Clients picking up medications and food will be able to enter the building as long as REQUIRED masks are worn and social distancing is practiced with a limit of 6 clients in the lobby at any one time.

  • Our team members will continue to wear face masks or shields, practice regular hand washing and cleaning of frequently touched surfaces.

  •

We understand that clients like to be with their pets. We have been very fortunate to be able to remain open to help all of our patients. We have to continue these safety measures so that we are able to remain open to help animals in need. If you have ANY questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us @ 757-898-3700.
